Rules
General
1. Activity. If you are going to join this site, please be active; if you are not going to be active please don’t bother joining. Our activity isn’t that strict, but we ask our members here to be on at least 3 times a month. I don’t care if it’s a random visit to check on the site and show you’re still active or posting back to a thread. Still, you must post at least once a month, just so we know you are roleplaying and active with that subject. I want this site to be full of active members, even if it’s the needed activity, and I don’t want dead members, that shows the site is kind of dead itself.
2. Absence. If you are going to be absent, tell us before you go, especially if you are going to be gone for a long period of time. We’ll have to delete you, very sadly, and you’ll lose everything on your account. Yes, if you come back and join again you may get your stuff back. We would love for our members to join back if it was a mistake, or just to have another try. Also, if we deleted you, don’t come to us and barking mad, it was clearly your own fault for whatever you did. And if we have to delete you more than once, when it’s clear that you are not going to be active enough, don’t bother joining back.
3. Exit. If you plan on leaving the site for good please inform me first. Also delete your account when leaving. If you don’t tell me and delete your account randomly, I might think it was deleted by someone or something like that. I would also like to know, so I can put up a notice that says your leaving and we can have a goodbye thread. Remember before leaving, you will lose everything on your account. Like characters, posts, and other belongings. If you come back I can’t promise you get everything back, it might belong to someone else now or it might have been deleted. But, if you really have to leave, I understand, especially if it’s for a reason. Family problems, school problems, not enough computer time (even though we don’t ask for much activity.) etc.. We’ll miss you, and you might be able to come back someday!
4. Polite. Be polite, welcome everybody, help out, you know what I mean it’s an easy rule. This means no discriminating/rude/racist/etc. posts or messages. We need to be nice and good; if I hear about someone being mean to another I will not be happy. Depending on the circumstances, I might even warn or ban somebody. This also includes cyber bullying or trying to get rid of someone on the site. If there is any of this please tell me, if it seems like I don’t know. I expect other staff to help me take care of things like this.
5. Word Count. There is no word count, but please have something people can post back to. I would say about 2 sentences, 3 with speech. A paragraph would do rather nicely as well. I would like a good RP thread here and there, something people really try on and make things fun. If somebody makes like, 1,000 word counts please don’t post back with 3 sentences that would make me cry because I worked hard and barely got something in return. Good grammar and detail would be great; I like understanding and imagining things good. I expect a lot from expert roleplayers as well, just so you know.
6. Mary Sue’s/Gary Sue’s. That means no perfect characters. These usually have a perfect life and doesn’t do anything wrong. Nobody is like that, so therefore I don’t want a character like that. I want some creativity, some fun. I like to make my characters history terrible and their personality usually affected by it, whether it’s a happy shield or a closed off shield. Also, Mary and Gary often go to power-playing and god-modding. Power-playing is when a character is to powerful to defeat, I know that happens in the anime a lot (Merry and Missletein) but I don’t want it happening here. I do understand if someone is defenseless and can’t fight and is against a strong opponent though. God-modding is when someone controls another player without them being able to say anything about it. Let them control themselves and you worry and control you. This doesn’t mean you can make your character dodge and block, taking this rule as an advantage, all the time. That is Power-playing, as mentioned above. Play fair here, alright? DEATH--OR POSSIBLE DEATH--OF ANOTHER PLAYERS CHARACTER NEEDS PERMISSION OF THE CHARACTERS PLAYER AND SOMETIMES ME BEFORE INVOKING!
7. Characters. You may have as many characters as you want, one account only though, and there are some things I wish to talk about. I will allow someone to play there own couple and Dream Demon, SOMETIMES. You can not always play your own couple, because you will have it perfectly and its not as fun. Dream Demons are the same, not all the time. If someone is playing a vessel and the other person the Dream Demon, make sure you're both online enough to play together, same with a couple. Your character must also break character every now and then, whether it's crying when they never cry or being unusually happy for there serious personality. Don't break it all the time though, please. You must be accepted before you start roleplaying, and you can do the application however you want to as long as I know your past, personality and regular stuff. You also must have a picture.
Staff
8. Position. You must first start out as a member, and if you plan on being part of Staff show me what you can do as a member. Maybe welcome some members, help them if they’re confused, show them around, etc. You must show to be active, and you must be good at roleplaying. You may then ask for a position in staff, but if you want to be Admin or Global Moderator, you must start out with Moderator yourself. Then you can level up to the Global Moderator, then Admin. If you wish to be something else, then go for it. The staff positions are: Advertiser, Librarians, RP Tutors, Graphic Moderator, Moderator, Global Moderator, and Admin. If you don’t know what one of these are, you will find it in the next rule.
9. Work. If you are part of Staff, I do expect you to do your job, no exceptions. Advertisers must advertise, they should be very active (at least twice a week) and each time they are on they should advertise at least 10 sites, they cannot be lazy or procrastinate. Librarians should sort things out, make sure everything is in the correct board and stuff like that, dead threads and missing threads, threads in the wrong place, etc. RP Tutors take over the RP board here, which is usually for beginner roleplayers or roleplayers who want to get used to roleplaying here, as well as testing their skills. Graphic Moderators keep up with graphic requests and keeping the site up and looking good. Moderator’s help with members and easy stuff like that; they usually don’t accept apps or help with RP Tutors or anything. Global Moderators usually monitor things, such as member’s behaviors and stuff, they must know the rules and know what’s wrong or right. Admins to about everything, accepting apps, moderating and helping members, helping with the RP tutors and advertisers, updating the site and making graphics, etc. You must keep on top of your job and do it right.

10. Thanks. Since you got all the way down here, this must mean you read the rules. I'm thankful, I know it's a lot but it's mostly basic and easy to remember. Thanks for looking at this site, hope you join and I'd be glad to see you. If you haven't watched Dream Eater Merry, I'd recommend it to you, and you should read everything else we have. If you have, good job, you don't have to but you can if you want to refresh your memory. Hope you have fun here. Also, if there is something you want us to add to anything (preferably the rules) please tell us, they could help a lot. But, something that would actually need to be put in action, not something kind of useless. We also take things that could mean a good plot for us! Anything you can think of that's interesting! Thanks for everything guys!
